Purpose of Job

The client service intern will be responsible for making sales calls, running appointments, and cultivating client relationships in a high-energy work environment with creative professionals. The intern in this position needs to be able to work with many different kinds of people and be able to adapt to a lot of different situations.

The intern will learn and be exposed to:

• Real world knowledge of working with clients and managing accounts
• Hands-on strategising, planning and execution of campaigns that include digital marketing, direct marketing, social media, advertising, internal communication, and PR
• Creative campaign development and execution
• Participation in staff and client meetings

Responsibilities:

• Research different industries
• Assist in brainstorming and idea planning
• Participate in client meetings
• Assist with admin
• Assist with campaign execution across digital marketing, direct marketing, social media, advertising, internal communication, and public relations
• Delivery on all tasks that are required by employees in the agency
• To assist different people in different departments within the agency
• Assist with general office management to ensure that the office is well stocked in supplies and stationery
• To assist with client meetings, logistical arrangements and co-ordination

Schedule and compensation:

• Duration of internship: 6 months
• Upon successful completion of the internship programme, the candidate will be considered for permanent employment within the agency, should there be a vacant position

Requirements for the internship programme

• Compulsory: Completed or either studying towards a Communication or Marketing degree or similar
• Willingness to learn and be a team player
• Dependable and willing to complete the entire 6-month internship programme
